Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! I warmly invite interested clients to utilize my free fifteen-minute consultations, which take place on a secure video platform along with our sessions.
What does our first session look like?
In your first session, we’ll explore what brought you here, your hopes for therapy, and how we can collaborate to achieve your goals. You are the focus of this space—your experiences are valid, and I am here to listen with openness, empathy, and understanding.
Do you take my insurance?
I am not in-network with any insurance panels. However, your sessions may be eligible for reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Typically, insurance plans with these benefits reimburse between 50-80% of each session. To find out more, contact the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and inquire about your behavioral or mental health out-of-network coverage. Be sure to check your deductible and the reimbursement percentage!
Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept all major credit/debit cards and FSA/HSA cards. I will provide you with a monthly superbill, which you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Many clients find the process straightforward after their first claim submission.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require at least 48-hour notice for all cancellations. If you cancel within this time frame, you will be responsible for the full-service fee.
Do you offer teletherapy (virtual sessions)?
Yes, I offer virtual sessions via a HIPAA-secure online video platform.
