Life Transitions & Identity Shifts

One fundamental truth about life is that it is composed of many beginnings and endings.

Endings can be filled with loss, and beginnings can feel that way too. Even when the change is positive or chosen, it can still bring a deep sense of loss for what once was. The routines, roles, and identities tied to our past can leave an emotional hole, much like grief. These moments remind us that growth often comes with a sense of longing or sadness, as we adjust to newness while honoring what we’ve left behind. In our work together, we will use grief therapy and cognitive-behavioral techniques to understand these powerful emotions and release them in a safe and intentional way.
