Being a woman comes with its own unique challenges and frustrations. Recently, the media has become more vocal about women’s health issues like PCOS, infertility, endometriosis, perinatal challenges… the list goes on. However, what often goes unspoken is how much women must advocate for high-quality care, accurate testing, and effective treatment for female-specific health concerns.
Too often, women find themselves overexplaining their symptoms, only to be met with skepticism or dismissal by medical providers. The constant effort to be understood can feel exhausting and isolating. Therapy provides a safe space to process these feelings with support and validation.
